This 1915 picture is looking upstream. In 1945 Sonora would have been to the left. In 1945 there was an abandoned headworks and silo on the east side of the river near downtown Ray and an active headworks, crusher, and silo in use on the west side of the river. I (ovk) would like someone to outline the history of the mine shafts and buildings for me.
