The Primghar Community Playhouse (PCP) welcomes you to this presentation. Since the theater's inception in 1980, many individuals have given of their time and talent to provide quality entertainment to the Primghar area.
Each cast and crew, without exception, has given up countless hours with their families, and all hope of a social life, to present an enjoyable evening of entertainment for the community.
Each year seems to be a busy year. In 1998, PCP produced two community plays, hosted a children's theatre, and held fund raisers to promote the fine arts in and around Primghar.
An old tradition was revived in 1998: an Annual Membership Dinner. Everyone is welcome to join PCP and get involved with its productions. If you have a talent, PCP can put it to good use, either on the stage or behind the scenes.

The director(s) for each production are local women and men willing to translate the author's words and direction into life. Some directors over the years have been actors who move to directing. Others have been taught directing in one school or another. Though directing is not their profession, we are happy to have their professionalism guiding the performance.
And we can't forget the many other artisans whose talents blossom when they are given an opportunity to help: set construction; set decoration; costumes; programs; lights; sound; makeup; publicity; tickets; choreography; house and ushers. And the many community businesses that are willing to donate or lend to make the productions a success.
