It was my father who managed the firm that made the Jokari sets in England back in the 1950s. I used to work in the factory in Hove, Sussex during school holidays stamping 'Jokari' on the bats. The references to the Langridge brothers was of interest as father established that connection and arranged as an advertising stunt for the game to be played by the MCC on board ship bound for a test series with Australia.
